Bio

Fani lives with her young single mom, little brother, and grandparents. Her mother was only 13 when she gave birth to her. Her mother has no education and no job. She has no resources with which to care for her children. She begs for money and often takes her children out begging with her in order to gain more pity for money - it is all she knows. The entire family (including her two grandparents) survives off of the money her mother gets from begging and the small wages her grandfather earns from bicycling around selling ice cream. This family is in dire need. Fani has been sick repeatedly the past few months with severe kidney infections. She needs both medical and dental care which sponsorship will provide. Fani is currently in first grade. She has the sweetest smile and gentlest spirit! Her favorite class is math and she dreams of becoming an accountant. You can help Fani rise above the devastating poverty that surrounds her and empower her to run after her dreams and lead her family into a brighter future.
