Bio

Suley lives with her parents and 2 younger siblings, Ruth (4) and Enoc (3), in addition to 6 cousins and her grandmother. It’s a full household, but a cheerful one. Her two parents are the only ones really able to contribute income to the whole family, as her grandmother spends most days taking care of all the children living there. Suley’s mother works in the sugar cane fields, and her father is a guard in the military.  Suley started school late, and is only in third grade so far, but is studying hard and has dreams of becoming a lawyer when she grows up. She loves to play hide and seek and jump rope, and her favorite class is environmental science.

Suley and her family are so grateful for her sponsorship. This has been an incredible blessing for their family. Suley started 4th grade in February 2015. She received her uniform, shoes, backpack, and school supplies. She also received an athletic outfit in order to participate fully in her PE class. Suley and her family were able to receive some food provisions when her dad was without work due to illness. As a focus on preventative health care, Suley received a free dental cleaning and fluoride treatment. She was also able to have several cavities filled at the New Song clinic. Suley is working hard in her classes to be successful this year.
