Our sponsorship staff met with Zamir to talk about his class conduct. We encouraged him to make better decisions in his behavior and talked to him about how intelligent and capable he is. His parents have also talked with him and grounded him until he improves his grades. Zamir is working hard to improve his grades and class conduct in the next grading period. We believe that he can accomplish anything that he puts his mind to. Zamir received his new uniform and shoes for the second semester of classes. Through his sponsorship he has been able to complete class projects and attend a field trip to Managua. Zamir has been learning to differentiate between plant and animal cells in science. In Language Arts, the class has been holding round table discussions about the poems of Ruben Dario. In math, Zamir has been learning algebra. This area of study has been difficult for him.
